Is Marilyn Manson engaged?

Marilyn Manson has reportedly proposed to his filmmaker girlfriend - after just five weeks of dating.

The 43-year-old eccentric singer is said to be tying the knot with Seraphim Ward, 27. The news comes a day after Ward posted a photograph on Twitter of what looked like an engagement ring.

"Marilyn proposed with a family ring," a friend told Life and Style.

"I think it was his grandmother's. It's Celtic, and Seraphim says it has a magical bonding to the receiver."

Ward has fuelled wedding rumours by taking to her Twitter account to say she is "still speechless and in shock".

Her representative has also spoken about her devotion to the goth rocker.

"Seraphim is in a committed relationship and is over the moon about what her bright future holds with her partner," her representative told Life & Style.

She is currently filming her acting debut in Speed Dragon, also starring Bai Ling.

Manson and Ward fell in love because they have so much in common, according to a source.

"They share an interest in the occult and have bonded fast," the friend said, referring to Ward's fascination with making films about the paranormal. "He's gotten her a house in the Hollywood Hills."

Manson was married to Dita Von Teese for two years before their divorce in 2007. He also got engaged to Rose McGowan in 1999. The singer proposed to Evan Rachel Wood in 2010, but the pair called off their engagement later that year.
