Adam Lambert talks about how his new album 'Trespassing' will differ from pervious work as well as his potential world tour with 'Queen'.
EXCLUSIVE: Glamberts rejoice - the mighty Adam Lambert is back and in a New Zealand exclusive, he's talking to Stuff.co.nz about his new album, Trespassing.
Released today, the album has gone straight to number one on the New Zealand iTunes chart and is expected to feature heavily on Top 10 lists around the world.
It is no mean feat considering most American Idol alumni fall into oblivion pretty soon after the cameras stop rolling.
But Lambert, who came second on the reality TV show, has not only maintained his loyal following fans, but widened his reach.
As well as touring his own music around the world - including an Auckland show in 2010 - the 30-year-old has hooked up with the surviving members of Queen and will be the permanent replacement for the iconic Freddie Mercury.
But it's his new album, Trespassing, that his fans (known as Glamberts) are most excited about.
And there the Glam rocker has worked with some big names including Pharrell Williams and Bruno Mars to create the follow up to 2010's For Your Entertainment.
Trespassing is out today.
