Miranda Lambert, who picked up Album of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year at the ceremony, impressed in a sequined gold dress.

Taylor Swift wowed in a structured white gown by J Mendel. The 22-year-old won the coveted Entertainer of the Year prize.

Carrie Underwood looked gorgeous in an embellished cream dress by Abed Mahfouz.

LeAnn Rimes flaunted her figure in a red and white patterned Stella McCartney dress and sky-high sandals. The 29-year-old was joined by husband Eddie Cibrian on the red carpet.

Nicole Kidman was at the ceremony to support her husband Keith Urban. The pair both donned black, with Kidman accessorising her sheer panelled dress with a cute black clutch bag with strappy red sandals.

Marc Anthony arrived with his girlfriend Shannon De Lima, who was dressed in a flowing yellow dress. The star looked dapper in a dark suit with an unbuttoned white shirt.
